Creating Tailored Role-Based Dashboards in Primero with Existing and Customizable Options Reports

This role-based dashboard configuration will reduce information overload, enhance system usability, and ensure that each user group has a tailored view of critical information.

Brief explanation
Primero serves a wide range of users with distinct roles and responsibilities, such as case workers, supervisors, and administrators. The current dashboard view does not always cater to the specific needs of these different roles, which can hinder the effective use of the system. To address this, we propose introducing customizable dashboards that can be created directly from user-generated reports and assigned to specific roles. This feature will enable users to design dashboards that display key metrics, trends, and alerts based on their own reports and ensure that dashboards are tailored to the unique needs of each user group.

Additionally, administrators will have the ability to promote and assign dashboards to different roles, ensuring consistency in how information is presented and used across the organization. This will not only support personalized views but also align dashboard configurations with organizational priorities, making it easier for users to focus on role-specific tasks and data.

By allowing dashboards to be built from custom reports and assigned to roles, Primero will support faster access to insights, more efficient workflows, and improved decision-making processes tailored to each user’s role.
